ATTN: ~
PIERRE COMPUTER COMPANY is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer.
We run dozens of tenants today across multiple clouds, and we’re automating tenant creation end to end for self-serve. You’d own big pieces of how that platform grows and get a chance to work with some excellent infrastructure engineers who helped to scale companies like Twitter, Reddit, Figma, and Cloudflare.
Our stack is Kargo + Helm/Flux for progressive delivery across tenant tiers, Envoy, Terraform, ExternalSecrets, NATS, and Grafana Cloud for observability.
Some real problems from the last month:
- When a customer signs up, we build them an entire dedicated infrastructure stack automatically: DNS, certs, secrets, gateway, observability, with no human in the loop. That tenant fully reconciles from desired state so a half-created tenant fixes itself.
- We deploy many times a day to a fleet of clusters, promoted in tiers. Making that fast and boring at 100+ clusters.
- Messing with filesystems and our own code storage to project code into containers at super low latency and super large scale on top of k8s.
You should be proficient in Kubernetes, AWS & GCP infrastructure, and GitOps.
You should be self-driven and be able to handle the design and operationalization of these systems with no hand holding.
You should be an expert in your field.
